This product has been designed for the interactive
use combined with GPS; it is valid for PC-Windows environment, where Garmin MapSource/nRoute
must be installed as prerequisite, and for PDA equipped with the
software Garmin Que (PocketPC) or iQue (Palm). The maps can also be
downloaded on each Garmin GPS unit supporting BlueCharts. The same
maps are also available in raster format for the PC/PDA environment
using OziExplorer (
more...) and for every mobile phones supported by the
free software MapViewGPS (
more...).

The maps today available cover only a portion of Mediterranean Sea.
The subdivision in
maps is the same of Version 3.0, that
is free of charge and must be installed as
prerequisite. Users interested in high detailed maps can buy one or
more of them via Internet. The detailed maps have the same names of
the original maps and therefore they can be installed simply
overwriting them. In this way each user will always access the entire
Mediterranean Sea, with an high detail only for the specific zones where
he is used to navigate, at a very low cost.
